Brighteye announces a new leadership structure designed to support the company’s continued growth, scalability, and strategic ambitions. This evolution marks an important next step in Brighteye’s development as a future-ready organization with a strong focus on long-term vision, product innovation, and commercial momentum.

As of February 2, 2026, Niels Colson will transition from his role as Co-CEO to Chairman of the Board. In this capacity, he remains closely involved in defining Brighteye’s strategic direction and long-term development, while the executive team assumes full responsibility for day-to-day operations and organizational scaling.

“By clearly separating strategic governance from operational execution, we create stronger focus and decisiveness for Brighteye’s next phase,” says Niels Colson. “I remain fully committed to shaping the company’s long-term vision and sustainable growth trajectory.”

At the same time, Alexander Moentjens is appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Alexander brings strong leadership capabilities, deep industry expertise, and a clear strategic outlook. In his new role, he will lead Brighteye through its next growth phase, with a continued focus on customer value, partnerships, and international scalability.

“Brighteye is built on a strong foundation: a powerful product, a clear vision, and a unique ecosystem of customers and partners,” says Alexander Moentjens. “This new structure allows us to move faster, scale more effectively, and support our customers even more precisely in their digital manufacturing transformation.”

The executive team is further strengthened with the appointment of Dennis Asselman as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). In this role, he is responsible for the commercial strategy, go-to-market execution, and the development of long-term relationships with customers and partners.

Founder Lieven Decorte transitions from Co-CEO to Chief Technology Officer (CTO). From this position, he will focus fully on the product roadmap, solution architecture, and the continued technological evolution of the MOMENTUM platform.

Finally, Ann Geeraert continues her engagement as a member of the Board of Directors. While stepping back from her operational role, she remains actively involved in ensuring strong governance and continuity through her experience and expertise.

With this renewed leadership structure, Brighteye reinforces its ambition to grow as a scalable, innovative, and future-proof organization. The company is confident that these changes provide a solid foundation for sustainable growth and long-term partnerships.
