Due to increasingly strict requirements (mainly regarding sustainability) from the market, the board of OFI (Olam Food Ingredients, formerly Olam Cocoa) decided to set up 100% traceable cocoa processing. Cocoa beans from different origins were often processed together, which previously made it impossible to guarantee the end customer that the products delivered could meet the desired requirements 100%. The internal MES competency team immediately understood the complexity of such a challenge and started looking for a powerful partner to bring this story to a successful conclusion.
In this session, we will let you take a look behind the scenes of OFI's ambitious digitalisation process and explain things such as why Brighteye was chosen with Momentum, what the do's and don'ts of such a digitalisation process are, how the implementation went on the site in Wormer as a pilot and how the benefits of the Wormer site can be translated to other sites.
